Daniel Gotti

Born in Bergamo in 1994, I've been practicing sports tirelessly since I was a child, finding movement a source of freedom and expression.

After finishing high school, my passion for sport was too strong for me not to undertake a course of study in Sports Science .

The 5 years at university were a unique life experience, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree with a thesis on the analysis of the impact of different training methods on the quality of night-time recovery in high-level athletes.

I subsequently completed my master's degree with a thesis on the analysis of the preparation of podium finishers in the Giro d'Italia .

Already during my studies I began to experiment, training as much as possible and thus creating a solid experiential base.

I currently combine my coaching activity with a PhD at the State University of Milan and the University of Western Australia in Perth.

Cycling

Once I got to grips with coaching life, I quickly moved into the world of cycling, gradually training more and more athletes until I collaborated with an international level team.

I am currently active with collaborations at all levels, from amateur competitive to young U23s on the launch pad, to the Elite.

What fuels me is the joy of being able to express talent, through a healthy mix of science and practicality, alongside the kids I coach.

Other Sports & Australia

Over the years, I have worked as an athletic trainer for various sports organizations, from soccer to volleyball, serving as Head of Performance for senior teams and Head of Athletic Training for national-level clubs.

I am convinced that specialization is essential to emerge in a sport, but I am equally certain that knowledge of the human body as a whole is a great "Plus" for an excellent coach.

In Australia I have the opportunity to conduct research on top-level athletes, including Olympic medal winners.
